How to Suppres Update of Current Module?

Hello experts,

with Doors 8.3, I currently encounter the following problem: I run a sophisticated script in the current module which is incredibly slow, mainly due to Doors steadily updating the display. Is there any chance to stop Doors from permanently updating the display, e. g., the module explorer?

Thanks

You can turn off the explorer: hideExplorer(mod).

More likely the current view has layout DXL, which re-calculates at a horendous rate when you do anything to the display. If your DXL depends on the current view then [1] shame on you [2] perhaps find the layout column and remove it. If your DXL doesn't care about the view then consider loading the standard view before the DXL starts:
load(mod, view("Standard view"), false)

I suspect load the view THEN turn off the explorer.

BTW: Layout columns are those that are not the main column nor have an attribute name.
